Who we are

AI Council is operated by Joshua Sorell, operating as Lunar Ley Lines, a trade name registered in Alberta, Canada (registration number TN23812118) ("Joshua Sorell, operating as Lunar Ley Lines", "we", "us"). When you use AI Council or buy credits or a monthly plan, you are contracting with Joshua Sorell, operating as Lunar Ley Lines.

Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use AI Council you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction, or have authority to bind the organization you use the service for.

The service

AI Council sends your questions to several third-party AI models, which debate and vote until they reach a consensus answer. Usage is paid with prepaid credits, bought as one-time packs or monthly plans. Guests and new accounts receive a small number of free questions.

Your account

Keep your login details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including by:

• using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or to send spam;
• infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• generating illegal content, hate speech, harassment, deepfakes of real people, malware, or content that exploits minors;
• attempting to jailbreak, bypass safety filters, or circumvent usage limits or billing;
• interfering with security, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or overloading the service;
• reselling or redistributing the service without permission.

Your prompts and AI outputs

You are responsible for your prompts, for having the rights to anything you submit, and for how you use the answers. As between you and us, you keep your rights in your inputs and may use outputs subject to the law and the AI providers' terms. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content only to provide the service. Rights holders can report infringing content to us via the contact below; we may remove it, and repeated infringement leads to account termination.

Accuracy

AI answers, including consensus answers, can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. They are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice. Verify important information independently.

Content moderation

We may remove or restrict content, refuse or filter outputs, and suspend accounts that break these terms.

Intellectual property

Joshua Sorell, operating as Lunar Ley Lines owns the service and its software, design, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within these terms.

Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, renewals, and cancellations are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Monthly plans renew each month until cancelled; unused credits stay in your balance. See our Refund Policy.

Service level and warranties

We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that third-party AI models will always be available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, data, or goodwill), and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it. You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time. When an account ends, its saved conversations may be deleted.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of Alberta. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in a business transfer. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post changes here.
